“They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a…guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. The millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us.” – Patrick Henry, March 23, 1775.

They say you can’t know where you’re going until you know where you’ve been. Note the bolded texta above. History is repeating itself. We fought our way free from a tyrannical government in 1776. We must do the same now, or we will never stand with the honor folks like Patrick Henry possess today.

Ever seen the law that compels you to pay a personal income tax? Me neither. That’s because it doesn’t exist. Yet millions of citizens today pay, without questioning, some 40% of the money they earn to the federal government with the belief that the money is needed to fund the services that the government provides. Unfortunately, our personal income tax does not go to government funding, but instead to the interest we owe on our massive debt.

What’s worse, there is no law on the books in the United States that authorizes the government to levy a tax on our personal income. Corporate income tax (on profit gained) is legal, of course. There’s a law on the books for that. But for personal income, our wages (an exchange of services for money – not a profit gained) there is absolutely no law in existence that gives the government the ability to take 40% of the money we earn with our blood, sweat, and tears.

Talk to the IRS, and they’ll tell you that they’re authorized by the 16th Amendment.

Remind them that the 16th Amendment (and the Supreme Court ruling of Stanton and Brushaber in 1916) includes no authorization for the government to levy a personal income tax and they’ll tell you that it is irrelevant.

The Constitution and Supreme Court decisions are irrelevant? Our Internal Revenue Service does not answer to the government? Cannot be held accountable?

There is no law stating that wages can be taxed. There is no law. Without a law, we are not obligated to pay the tax. Unfortunately, they have the guns and through scare tactics, they compel us to “voluntarily” pay our taxes. One person cannot change it. But if we all stand up, maybe we can do something about it. Do the research for yourself. If you can find the law, let me know.

Welcome to my new blog. There’s not much here yet, but hopefully I’ll have something up soon. As you can see, I’m still rearranging and playing around with stuff. :-) You’ll find it’s a variety of topics here. Comments are always welcome, just don’t be nasty or mean.  See you around!
